Our web host processes the following personal data in a server log file for the purpose of monitoring the technical function and increasing the operational security of the web server on the basis of the overriding legitimate interest of the person responsible (technical security measures):

Website accessed, date and time of server request, browser type/browser version, operating system used, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, referrer URL, IP address, host name. Our web host saves this data of visitors to our website for 2 weeks. We ourselves have no access to the log files.

Integration of third-party services and content Use of web fonts

Our website uses external fonts from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google". These web fonts are integrated by calling up our website, which means that a Google server in the USA also stores the IP address of your browser. We use the "extended data protection mode" option provided by YouTube.

When you visit a page that has an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers is not established until you click on a video and the video loads.

USING GOOGLE ADWORDS CONVERSION TRACKING

We use the online advertising program "Google AdWords" on our website and, in this context, conversion tracking (evaluation of visits). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043 USA; ("Google"). If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. The newsletter is sent using “ MailChimp ”, a newsletter mailing platform from the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this notice, are stored on the MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore, according to its own information, MailChimp can use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes, in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them or pass them on to third parties.

We trust in the reliability and the IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement " Privacy Shield " and is therefore committed to complying with EU data protection regulations. Furthermore, we have concluded a “ data processing agreement ” with MailChimp.
